Return to Origin: The Relational Field and Ancestral Memory
An Experiential Journey of Deep Disidentification, Lineage Repair, and Conscious Transmission of the Gift to the Relational Field
Facilitator: Prof. Luis Miguel Gallardo
This four-hour experiential workshop constitutes the third level of the Return to Originseries. If Level 1 focused on the discovery of and access to prenatal, perinatal, and transpersonal territories, and Level 2 emphasized the integration, repair, and embodiment of the essential gift contained in the origin story, this Level 3 expands the focus toward a dimension that has until now remained implicit: the relational field and ancestral memory as living territories of transformation.
The fundamental premise of this level is that origin imprints are not exclusively individual. The prenatal, perinatal, and early childhood imprints explored in previous levels are interwoven with transgenerational patterns, unspoken family mandates, invisible loyalties, and collective memories that traverse the lineage. In this sense, the shadow is not only personal: there is also an ancestral shadow, an inherited pain that asks to be recognized, honored, and transformed.
Grounded in the Integrative Transformation Model (ITM) and the Shadow–Gift–Essence (SGE)framework, this workshop extends individual work into the relational and systemic field. Participants will be accompanied in a process that seeks not only to understand how family and ancestral dynamics have shaped their psychic structure, but also to release inherited identifications, restore the interrupted flow of love and life force within the lineage, and discover how one’s personal essential gift is intimately connected to a mission that transcends individual history.
The workshop is organized in three complementary phases:
In the first phase, participants are introduced to an expanded vision of the ITM that integrates the transgenerational dimension. The exploration reveals how certain recurring patterns in adult life—emotional blocks, dysfunctional bonding dynamics, feelings of not belonging or carrying a weight that is not one’s own—may be rooted not only in early personal experience, but in unresolved mourning, family secrets, systemic exclusions, and collective traumas transmitted across generations.
Here the work centers on recognizing:
• the invisible loyalties that sustain the repetition of family patterns,
• unconscious identifications with lineage figures who were excluded, forgotten, or unhonored,
• the difference between one’s own pain and inherited pain,
• and the possibility of occupying a freer, more differentiated, and more loving place within the family system.
In the second phase, participants are guided through a deep experiential process that combines transpersonal regression with systemic field work. Unlike previous levels, where the focus was on personal history and the soul’s intention, here the regressive process opens toward encounters with figures, scenes, and dynamics of the family lineage that are active in the participant’s field.
The journey may include:
• regression to key moments in family history where a systemic pattern originated,
• experiential contact with ancestors carrying unresolved pain or unrecognized gifts,
• internal rituals of returning, honoring, and releasing burdens that do not belong to the participant,
• and the identification of the thread of strength, wisdom, and love that also flows through the lineage as a resource for embodiment.
Participants will be invited to explore not only what they have inherited, but also what they can transform from their place in the system, and how their own healing retroactively impacts the ancestral field.
In the third phase, the process moves toward the present relational dimension. If in previous levels the essential gift was discovered and embodied as an individual quality, in this level the exploration turns to how that gift manifests—or is blocked—in the most significant bonds of current life: partnerships, children, friends, colleagues, community.
How can I offer my gift to the world without losing myself in the other, without repeating the patterns of my lineage, and without renouncing the truth of my essence?
The work aims to translate ancestral liberation and personal embodiment into a new quality of relational presence: freer from projections, more rooted in the truth of being, and more capable of sustaining intimacy, difference, and love without merging or defensively distancing.
Throughout the entire process, the workshop cultivates an expansion of Fundamental Peace into its relational and systemic dimension. If in previous levels Fundamental Peace was experienced as a state of internal integration and a capacity for embodied presence, in Level 3 it reveals itself as a quality that can also be sustained within the relational field: a peace that does not depend on isolation or disconnection, but holds itself amid relationship, shared history, and systemic tension.
In this level, Fundamental Peace presents itself as a growing capacity to:
• belong to one’s lineage without being prisoner of its mandates,
• honor family history without carrying what does not belong,
• offer the essential gift to the relational field without self-instrumentalization,
• and live from a love that includes the system without being confused by it.
The session concludes with a systemic integration ritual, a reflection on the impact of the work on current relationships, and a closing circle, oriented toward consolidating the transition from individual understanding to relational transformation.
• Participants who have completed Level 2 – Deepening
• Psychotherapists, counselors, systemic therapists, and constellation facilitators who wish to integrate the regressive-transpersonal approach with relational field work
• Individuals who recognize repetitive patterns in their relationships and suspect their origin extends beyond personal history
• Those who wish to release inherited burdens and discover how their personal transformation can heal dimensions of the family field
Having completed Level 2 – Deepening or having equivalent experience in regressive-transpersonal work and integration of the Shadow–Gift–Essence framework.
